Dog-e-Tag® Warranty
One year warranty to the original owner against defects in material,
workmanship, and assembly. Repair and replacement of any part found
defective shall be at eTags LLC sole option.
Please note: As many as five missing pixels are within the manufactures performance tolerance specification (the screen has 2000). However, if the result completely omits any single character, the warranty will apply.

How is the information entered?
All of the information is entered by the user. By using the buttons on the tag,
a simple sequence is followed to select, enter and store the personal
identification number, language, and all forty lines of text. No other device or
computer is needed.

Is it hard to Program?
The best and fastest way to enter information is to fill out the "Data Log"
provided in the instruction booklet prior to entry. This helps you in three ways.
First, you can view all the text and symbols available to you. Next, you can
enter data much faster if you are looking at the words, as opposed to thinking
of them as you enter. Last but not least, you will have a record of what is in
the tag. Use a pencil so that changes can easily be made.

Am I allowed to enter my dog's license number?
Please check with your local city, county or state officials. The rule differs
depending on where you live. Some places only require that you purchase
the "number". This means it can by displayed on the dog any way you wish.
However, some areas require that you use their specific tag, as there is a
fee associated with this. Fortunately, Dog-e-Tag® has no problem sharing
your dogs collar with another tag!

Can I replace the battery myself?
Yes, very easily. All that is required is a small jeweler's type screwdriver, such
as one used to tighten screws on eyeglasses. The typical watch battery is
style #CR2025 and can be purchased at any watch or electronics store.

Will I lose the stored information when the battery is replaced?
No! You have about 30 seconds before data is lost. This does not mean the
tag has to be completely closed and operational, only that the new battery
is making contact in the correct orientation.

My tag is so dirty and grimy... I can't see the display.
Wash it off! The Dog-e-Tag® is waterproof and a gentle hand washing
using a dry soft cloth and a solution of water and mild, neutral detergent is
no problem. However, we do recommend you remove the tag if any chemical
treatments such as flee sprays or shampoos are used.

I just got my tag. Nothing happens when I press the two
bottom buttons.
The tag is shipped with nothing programmed inside, so no text will appear
until some data is entered.
